Last Day – 01 Dec 2008

We left CS and J’s place about 9am in the morning and had breakfast with them at Starbucks. After a nice cuppa coffee and sandwiches, we went to the train station where CS and J went for their lessons whilst CG and I made our way to the Tokyo Imperial Palace. We had made an online booking for the palace tour at 2pm. The tour was supposed to end at 3pm and we were supposed to reach the airport at about 4.30pm for our flight at 5.50pm. 😛 Not to worry, we had already done our online check-in the night before. 🙂

 

We both felt that the Kyoto Imperial Palace tour was more interesting. Firstly, the Kyoto tour was in English whereas for Tokyo, it was a Japanese tour and we were given English audio guides. And maybe because Kyoto Imperial Palace was the first tour, so it was still fresh and interesting. But nevertheless, it was worth the while to make the trip to the Tokyo Imperial Palace. 🙂

After the Imperial Palace tour, we hurriedly made our way to the Narita Airport for our flight back. And then it was home sweet home! 🙂
