On MC today…

Yes, I’m on MC today. Woke up with a fever and super bad throat. I actually started with running nose and continuous sneezing yesterday which became blocked nose last night. The last time I fell sick was only about 2 months ago!  =( I didn’t go to work today. CG says I’m overworked and low morale, that’s why I always fall sick. I don’t know how true, but I know I don’t like to be sick.

And in the midst of my blowing of nose and hiding under the comforter, I received a call from my boss. My big boss told him to ask me to do a presentation in front of all the bosses tomorrow. Oh man! That is enough to stress me out even more! So no more resting, I need to get my presentation materials ready. =(

Tomorrow is going to be a stressful day for me. Need to go to the lawyer’s in the morning to settle my dad’s stuff. I hate doing that. It always reminds me of my dad and more often than not, makes me miss him even more. After the lawyer’s, need to rush back to work and from 12 to 1pm, be interviewed by a panel. My dept is trying to get an award and I’m one of those who needs to be interviewed because of my appointment. Sigh… 2.30pm is the presentation which is giving me the cold feet and 3.30pm is another event where I’m the IC.
